Stained Glass Quilt Top

I recently completed this Stained Glass Quilt Top and posted it on Etsy.  My shop receives a lot of hits when I have a Stained Glass Quilt listed.  It was only out there about three weeks and it sold.  I am so happy!

Don't you like how the sunshine is creating that stained glass affect?!?

I have decided to close my Etsy shop for a season.  I don't know how long that will be.  Maybe a season will equal 'forever'.  I don't know.  I still have items that I want to sell.  Maybe I'll take these quilt tops over to Kathleen's shop and see if I could sell them over there.  I am ready to have the tops sold and out of my home.  I like sewing, but I don't need all of these quilts!

Quilt Top – The Cat’s Meow

I sold this Quilt top at Farmer’s Market on July 6, 2013.  I made it last fall at a three day quilt retreat near LaSal, Utah.  I had listed it on Etsy, but the buyer was a tourist who just happened to drop by Farmer’s Market.

I am always grateful to sell a quilt top.  I enjoy piecing quilts together but I do not need every quilt that I have made.  Hopefully, I will continue to sell quilt tops, so I can fund my hobby!

Quilt Tops I've Made and Sold

I just like to keep a record of the quilt tops that I make to sell.
Here are a few that are listed on Etsy, have sold, or will be listed shortly.

Probably my least favorite quilt top.  It has been listed a couple of times, but hasn't sold.  I think it is because it wouldn't even fit on a twin size bed.  It is more of a large lap size quilt top.
Someday I will have it out of my inventory!

I call this quilt top Aimee's Garden.  The light pastels are darling.  It is a fund quilt top!

A brown orchid Irish Chain.  I loved the floral fabric and have just been
waiting to find the right pattern.  The Irish Chain worked!

This pink and green Irish Chain is darling.  I love the way it turned out.  Sometimes, pictures don't do the quilt justice.  This is one of those times.

Pink & Yellow Quilt.  This turned out beautiful and I love the fabric line.
I'm making a second quilt that I will list on Etsy as well.

Etsy

Last Saturday, I put this unfinished quilt top out on Etsy and it sold within an hour.

Last evening (Tuesday) I put this unfinished quilt top out on Etsy. This morning, it also had sold!

I honestly don't understand Etsy. I put thing out there and they sit for months. Then, within a couple of days, I've sold two high dollar items.
I am GRATEFUL!!!
