Granddad's 90th Birthday Party

Today is Doug's 90th birthday.  Caroline hosted a little celebration this evening with cake and ice cream.  Julene made sure that his picture was in the paper(s)!

Quilting Again...

I completed my sister-in-law's quilt last week.  I've decided to name it The Good Earth.

The second quilt I completed is one of my scrappy rainbow quilts.  I made it for a friend in my town who is helping me create a perenial garden.  She has that talent, and I have the quilting talent.  We are exchanging services.  We are both pleased and excited!  I can't wait for my perenial garden to florish come next spring!

Bluff Hot Air Balloon Festival

This morning I arose very early and drove to Bluff with friend Kirsten Hendry and her son Adam.  We had fun watching all the hot air balloons fill and take off in the early morning sky!
